Woodcut on front cover of church with saying underneath "The curfew tolls the knell of parting day". Possibly the most famous English poem of the 18 th century. Some famous quotes came from this poem, "Far from the madding crowd", and "the paths of glory lead but to the grave". Gray covers. Tears at spine where string-tied o/w Very Good.
