The first edition. In the original cloth with the original unclipped scarce dust wrapper. This crime novel was written by British crime writer and poet Julian Symons. The work follows the story of Anderson, a sales executive, who finds his wife dead and himself at the top of the suspect list.   In the publisher's original cloth with the original unclipped dust wrapper. Externally excellent with only very slight bumping to the extremities. Offsetting to the endpapers with the odd spot to the front. The wrap is smart with small closed tears to the head and tail, slight marks, chips, scattered spotting and slight sunning to the spine. Spotting to the verso. Internally firmly bound with bright and generally clean pages with the odd spot. Near Fine

Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
