About This Item

Meriden, Conn: Ralston Society, 1940. 8th Printing of 10,000 copies. Hardcover. Very good. 8vo., maroon cloth (photos are more maroon than red), pp. 374. -- Front hinge moderately cracked, still holding. -- If front hinge were professionally repaired condition would be near fine. -- Overall Condition. Think and Grow Rich: In 1937, Hill published the bestselling book Think and Grow Rich, which became Hill's best-known work. Hill's new wife Rosa Lee Beeland contributed substantially to the authoring and editing of Think and Grow Rich. Hill's biographers would later say this book sold 20 million copies over 50 years, although as Richard Lingeman remarks in his brief biography, "Alice Payne Hackett's 70 Years of Best Sellers suggests the amount was considerably less."-wikipedia -- According to wikipedia's fairly extensive biography Hill was pretty much a flim flam man; starting man different businesses and failing in pretty much all of them.

Synopsis

Think and Grow Rich  is an early self-help book by Napoleon Hill, first published in 1937. The book aims to teach readers how to become wealthy by providing practical advice and insights based on Hill's extensive interviews with successful individuals. Through thirteen principles, Hill emphasizes the importance of positive thinking, goal setting, and perseverance in achieving financial success. Hill was considered a leader in the New Thought Movement of the early 19th century. Throughout the decades,  Think and Grow Rich  has remained a staple of the personal development field; many personalities reference Hill and his ideas, including his use of a 'mastermind group.' The book has sold over 70 million copies. Because the copyright was not renewed (Hill's fourth ex-wife, Rosa Lee Beeland, held the rights), the book is in the public domain, so many editions are available on the market.
