About This Item
Japan 009c Chamberlain, Basil Hall, 1850-1935. Things Japanese: being notes on various subjects connected with Japan, for the use of travellers and others. London/Yokohama: John Murray/Kelly & Walsh, 1905, fifth edition revised, vi, 552p, map, index. First issued in 1890. Blue boards with gold titles and blind stamped decoration are faded and edge-rubbed, minor fraying. Endpapers are browned and there is a name crossed out on flyleaf. Inner hinges cracked but repaired, good else but not better. I recall having seen a reference to a map (this edition) but I couldn't find any reference or indication there was one in this printing but there could have been. $10.00 Box A 92
