Ure Smith, Sydney, 1958. Reprint. Hardcover. Good Condition/Poor. Illustrator: Wep. The text is illustrated with black-and-white line drawings by Wep. Orange coloured titles to the backstrip. Illustrated dustwrapper, by Wep, with yellow coloured titles to the front panel and blue and white coloured titles to the back strip. The story of Nino Culotta and he is introduction to the Australian way of life, not to mention speech. Softening and rubbing of the back strip edges with bumping and rubbing of the corners. A stain to the top right hand corner of the front panel. Various marks to the book panels with light tanning of the text block edges and pages. Foxing to the first few and last pages of the book. The dustwrapper is almost in its component parts – in fact it doesn't have it rear fold over panel. Please see the photograph to assess how damaged the remnants of the dustwrapper are.
