Paris: Calmann Levy, 1892. Quarter-Leather. The dates on these volumes vary from 1878 to 1892. Seven volumes, volume I is missing. Written in French. Bright red leather spines with gilt titling, marbled boards, top textblock edges coloured, leading and bottom textblock edges are untrimmed, black and white engravings in five volumes, ribbon markers. Covers have light edgewear, text block edges darkened, some top edges lightly sunned, boards of volume 3 are sunned, top spine end of volume 4 has two tiny closed tears, the book of Notes has pale stain on leather on back, otherwise these very handsome books are in great condition, given their age. 307 - 430 pages.
