English traveler, Mary Jaques, wrote in 1894 a detailed account of her two-year stay in Texas, with side trips to Canada and Mexico. So taken with Texas that she bought a twenty-five acre spread with a one room cottage. She wrote this tale of her adventures when she went back to England. Facsimile reprint of the 1894 edition published in England. Illustrated. 363 pages. Dust jacket is clean and whole with no tears or chips. Book has slight soiling to bottom and top edges. Dust jacket and book are in Near Fine condition. .
