About This Item
London: Edward Moxon, 1855. First edition. First edition. Original green blind-stamped cloth, gilt lettering on spine. Ads in front dated August, 1855. From the Mortimer Collins collection (English Poet and Novelist), and evidently his annotated 'corrections' on the last poem, "The Charge of the Light Brigade," where the stanza numbering has been changed and a new stanza added (2), as well as adding corrections and a few lines at the end, all from later renderings by Tennyson of the poem. Some slight cover marking, very good and tight. Scarce thus.
