Publisher's green pebbled and embossed cloth with near all-over intricate gilt-stamped floral design on cover by John Leighton, gilt spine. With 22 superb tissue-guarded color plates comprised lavishly illuminate border work, illustration and typography, by Mrs. W. H. Harley. Printed on one side only, interleaved with tissue. Sticker on rear pastedown, "Bound by Leighton Son & Hodge." "H. G. Goodday" [Horatio George] copy, with his signature. Front cover slightly stained and showing wear, internally very good with slight foxing to some tissue guards.
