Johann Grüneberg Verlag, Marburg/ Lahn, 1932 German text. 368 printed pages. Top edge yellow. Profusely illustrated with monochrome photographs, some full-page. Includes International Championship results and facsimiles of very many of the Champions' signatures. 21.5 x 28.5 cm. Original blue decorative cloth. Bevelled edges. Spine with wooden tennis racket motif, lettering and head & tail decorative rules in gilt. Slightly faded, toned and a little foxed. Upper board with identical embossed gilt tennis racket motif below gilt lettering. Boards also slightly age toned and very slightly marked. Corners very slightly worn. This was a golden age of the pre-Open Era, when all the Major Tournaments and tours had been established and public popularity for tennis was booming. The book weighs over two Kg. that will effect the cost of postage.. 1st Edition. Hardcover. Very Good.
