About This Item

No Dust Jackets

Volumes: Offered as a complete 2-volume set. The description applies to both volumes. There are no marks, entries, or signs of previous ownership. The boards are firm and strong (photo), the gilt lettering is still bright and clear, and no page toning. The only imperfection is a small bulge on the back board of Volume II. It appears to be a printing flaw, not user neglect or abuse (photo).

Volume I contains the military unit historyfor those of Tennessee origin. Volume II is a vast (599pp) alphabetical roster of all documented personnel who served in either the Confederacy or the Union.

This magnificent-looking set is a wonderful addition to the personal library of any fan of Civil War History or student or scholar of Tennessee history.
