First published in Oct. 1948 by Little, Brown, this is a Book Cub Edition, with red cloth-covered boards lettered in gilt to spine. Condition is VG+: completely clean & unmarked, binding straight & strong, hinges secure. Pages white with a hint of tanning, heavier to endpapers. The unclipped DJ is VG-, with rubbing & light creasing & chipping, heaviest at lower spine. Colors bright; protected in nonreflective mylar cover.
