Included is a printed letter from the New York Fire Commissioner Nicholas Scoppetta that this book was presented to all members of the department as a gift following the fall of the towers on 9/11. Illustrated with color photographs and an introduction. Dedicated to the men of the New York Fire Department. All photos were taken between Sept. 8 and Sept. 17, 2001and in his introduction Mr. Haas gives his own personal "...account of one man's struggles with the events of 9/11 while very far from home".
