New York: D. Van Nostrand, 1889. Hardcover. Good. Chipping and short tears / fraying on head and foot of spine, erosion on corners and bottom edges, darkening on spine (especially at top), some soiling, a spot or two of dampstaining. Stamp on side of text block and front and rear endpages. Endpages also have smudging / soiling / markings. Fold-out page near front (w/ photo tipped in) is still attached but almost entirely torn out. Stamp on blank side of fold-out page. Pages are unmarked and lightly browned.
