The fourth and final Earthsea book, it won the 1990 Nebula Award for Best Novel and the 1991 Locus Award for Best Fantasy Novel. "The astonishing clearsightedness of 'Tehanu' is in its recognition of the necessary and life-giving contributions of female magic - sometimes disguised as domesticity" (New York Times, 20 May 1990). Octavo. Original dark blue cloth-backed red boards, spine lettered in red, front cover lettered in blind, orange endpapers. With dust jacket. With 2 maps. Bump to spine ends and upper corners, internally fresh; jacket bright, minor creases, unclipped: a near-fine copy in like jacket. Not in Cogell.
Synopsis
Tehanu was the fourth of Ursula K. Le Guin's Earthsea books. It won the Nebula Award for Best Novel in 1990, and the Locus Award for Best Fantasy Novel in 1991.
