Cream coloured oblong paper title to front boards showing what appears to be Pooh Bear musing over a large newspaper on the ground. Contains excellent line drawings by E.H.Shepard and music by H.Fraser-Simson. All pages are present and correct and remain in well preserved condition throughout.The book is tightly bound and has been well looked after over the years. Housed in the sea green dustwrapper with contrasting dark blue title lettering and charming decoration to front and back panel. Two large hairline tears but importantly the dustwrapper remains intact. Light wear and overall signs of handling commensurate with age but this surely rates as one of the more presentable examples of the very scarce dustwrapper. Now protected in a removable archival booksleeve to preserve its condition. Photographs of the book and the dustwrapper are available on request.
