A living history of an ordinary London Lad who met every challenge, faced adversity with courage and determination and still retained his sense of humour. In two short years went from delivery boy to become a bomber boy. Served as a Wop/Ag on Lancasters during the Battle of Britain as a member of 49 Squadron at RAF Fiskerton Lincs. Escaped from a stricken Lancaster and spent 18 montha as a prisoner of war in Stalag 4B,[Mulhberg] Luft 6 [Heydekrug], Stalag 357 [Thorn,Poland] and Fallingbostel prison camps.
