BINDING/CONDITION: light rust colored cloth with gilt text; a Very Good+ book, with a Very Good- dust jacket; the jacket is price clipped, and has a small chip to the rear panel.. 8vo (about 9 inches tall) . Description: A Course of Study for the Melchizedek Priesthood Quorums, The Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter-day Saints. Originally published in 1962, this is a later printing. William E Berrett was also the author of The Restored Church; he wrote text books for use in LDS schools, and went on to serve as Vice President of Brigham Young University. The publisher's blurb declares ''Elder Berrett feels that many of the finest teachings of this book of Latter-day Saint scripture have been neglected and are unappreciated by a majority of members of the Church. Most courses of study relating to the Book of Mormon have been devoted to the historical record and the general story of the Nephite and the Jaredite civilization. This study is designed to strike directly at the problems of religion and life for which the Book of Mormon makes vital contributions. It brings into full focus the religious philosophy of the ancient record which contains a fullness of the gospel.''
