The Macmillan Company, New York., 1964. Hardcover.. Near Fine/Near Fine. 8 1/4 H x 5 1/2 W x 1/2 inch.. Book 59879. NON SMOKING STORE. My listing includes PHOTO OF ACTUAL BOOK for sale. Book Interior NEAR FINE/ Boards Near Fine / Dust Jacket Near Fine. Was owned by a library but only signed out 8 times and looks hardly read. Boards and spine are grey cloth, lettering green, green embossing of title and Ibis bird on front cover. Dust jacket is white/green, lettering red, monotone photo front, red/white drawing on back. Dust jacket is NOT PRICE CLIPPED, has a bit of age darkening on edges and folds of flaps, spine is sunned but perfectly legible, spine and adjacent front and back dj cover has shadow of small piece of cello tape about 1/2 x 1/2 inch each, no holes, minor edge wear, two tiny rips at top of dj spine, a vertical thin black stain vertically on front dj cover. Book boards and spine are flat, clean, bright, no rips, no bent corners, no spine creases, no edge wear, a tiny bruise to lower board edge, short shadows of cello tape on covers, two each top and bottom. Page edges slightly sunned and shadow of thin school stamp on side edge. Inner end papers are white, front ffep has small ink library stamp, back end paper has library envelope and date sheet and small ink library stamp, reverse of title page also has small ink library stamp. Inside of book is tight, clean, bright, clear, flat. Lots of Black/white sketches & diagrams. A great HOW-TO book. Illustrated by the author.

My books are from a large private collection, very well taken care of and rarely handled. All descriptions and photos are of the actual books I'm selling. I'm happy to answer any questions regarding my books, just ask. IMPORTANT RE POSTAGE: I'm in Canada so books to the USA/Other Countries are International shipments and may be delayed by CUSTOMS and/or HOMELAND SECURITY. I'm using the Biblio standard postage matrix, which gives average postage fees, therefore sometimes for an OVERSIZE or LARGE heavy book or expensive book, the postage may be too low and may require extra charges. If I know this in advance, I will notify the buyer before the order is processed.
This is not a huge book warehouse, it is a small one-owner store run by a true book lover. POSSIBLE DELAYS: I'm elderly and disabled and while this usually does not cause a delay in order processing, it sometimes may cause a small delay for me to get to the post office. Thanks for your understanding. I will always email you with the date your package was shipped, and shipping method used.
