About This Item

Bordeaux: Université de Bordeaux, Faculté Mixte de Médecine et de Pharmacie, 1960. 4to, 131 pp, printed on rectos only. Publisher's printed wraps. No illustrations.

The results of a large scale study of 293 tattooed subjects at the notorious Charcot psychiatric hospital, and submitted as part of the author's work towards a degree at the Université de Bordeaux. Though the work prints no illustrations, the study is a remarkable primary document, and is also valuable for the very good 11 pp. bibliography which follows the text.

Wraps lightly toned, with some light foxing to the edges of the text block. Near fine.
