Boston: Thomas Badger, 1819. Book. Good. Calf. 32mo - over 4" - 5" tall. " To which is prefixed a brief account of the author's life"...This copy is calf with a red and a black band to the spine along with four small double bands of gilt The exterior is worn along the edges of the boards and spine, slightly bowed, and a small (1/2") closed tear to the top joint of spine...Title on spine is clearly legible..Interior is heavily toned and has a script gift dedication dated 1820. pages are all present and are secure in the binding..Hope I look this good when I reach 200 !!.

A small book (4 3/4th" x 3 1/3rd") with three quarter leather binding and marbled paper. The book and its contents are in mostly clean, bright condition. There is some light rubbing to the spine ends, spine joints and corners of the book covers and some noticeable rubbing to the marbled paper covers. The text pages are mostly clean and bright. Size 24mo, 5" x 3", 252 and 220 pages. Bound in full mid brown calf with gilt division bands to the spine with gilt titles on red morocco labels in the second and volume numbers on black morocco labels in the fourth compartments. Gilt Thistle motifs in the remaining compartments. Gilt hatched lines to the cover edges, marbled page edges. Condition very good, corners and edges rubbed, front hinges a little weak, internal condition near fine, the pages are very clean throughout with no foxing. Each volume contains an additional engraved title page, each with an engraving drawn by Corbould and engraved by W. Finden.
