Appears unread, in original publisher's red cloth with black titles, original publisher's green top stain page edges, minor ink blot on spine, pages are clean, bright, unmarked and binding tight. Neat previous owners bookplate on first pastedown from private library collection. Previous bookstore emboss seal on ffep. Lacking only the scarce dust jacket. The earliest reprint of Tarzan at the Earth's Core from G&D publishers, this is the "mixed edition" of Metropolitian Books / G&D with the Metropolitian Books publisher still printed on the title page, uncommon in this about near fine condition. This is the thirteenth novel in the Tarzan series, first appearance in a six part serial in 1929 in the pulp magazine Blue Book Magazine. Frontispiece illustrated by J. Allen St. John. Classic ERB fantasy adventure novel, collectible. 301 pgs. 8vo.
