Heidleberg: Groos Gyula, 1915. Hardcover. Further subtitled: "A Muvelt Nagy Kozonseg Szamara. Az Egyedul Valo Nyelvtanulas Fontos Szempontjaira Valo Kulonos Tekintettel Szerkesztette." German conversational grammar for Hungary, written in German script, includes illustrations of German script writing. This rare copy has blue stamps on endpapers indicating approval by censors for World War I Prisoners of War, library stamp of Switzerland and library stamp of Berlin. Green cloth with back titling and slightly rounded corners, end papers are a highly detailed map of Deutsches Reich and a detailed map of Berlin, publisher's advertising on last few pages, 447 pages. Cover has light edge wear, shelf wear, some staining to top front right corner and spine, top third of back board has been water damaged which has significant wrinkling and staining, damage continues to the top corners of pages in the last third of the book, text block edges darkened, front hinge split, pages 33-65 have two-inch split to upper hinge as well as closed tears of varying sizes that raidiate out from hinge, foxing spots and some damp marks in text.
