Quarto, vii, [3], 253pp. Black cloth, title in gilt on spine, gilt border and color illustration mounted on front cover. Stated "First Edition" on copyright page with publisher's code "I-X." Solid text block, faint toning along edges and endpapers, top edge dyed blue, a near fine example. Appears unread, pages uncut, many unopened. In the publisher's dust jacket, $3.00 retail price on front flap, slight ripple to front cover, small stain along top edge of spine, a touch of wear to corners. A near fine example. Features Zane Grey's bookplate affixed to the front pastedown endpaper, and his personal embossing stamp appears twice on the front free endpaper. Complete with seven full-page color illustrations, including frontispiece.
