eekman House, New York, NY, 1973. Very Good/Very Good. Quarto, hardcover, small blemish on endpaper else VG in VG green pictorial dj in mylar sleeve. Tight, sound and unmarked. 160 pages. Originally published in Purnell's History of WW I. In 1914 the machine gun was being used for the firs time and the bolt action rifle was at its peak; trenches were dug deeper to avoid fire power and then came the tank. Gas, flame and other methods of destruction were employed. It was excruciating to the infantry. 160 pp. illustrated.
