Finely bound in full very dark blue morocco with raised bands, gilt titles and gilt to spine; decorative rule to boards; marbled end papers. Publisher's original spine and pictorial upper board bound in at rear. With 10 beautiful full page colour plates and several black and white in text illustrations. A superb presentation. Tanglewood Tales is a re-writing of popular Greek myths and legends for children, including Theseus and the Minotaur, Antaeus and the Pygmies, The Dragon's Teeth and Jason and the Golden Fleece.
