All edges gilt.Black endpapers.Half title page, Frontispiece illustration, title page, dedicatory poem "To my student", preface, and contents page all unpaginated.152 [153]pages plus a single page of adverts for other books by Lewis Carroll, With six illustrations by Arthur B. Frost.Externally very good, rubbing to the gilt vigette on the rear, corners pushed innwards,and spine ends a little also, overall quite clean and bright, and not much worn.Inside there is a shadow on the verso of the front free endpapaper from a lost bookplate. Sound binding, with firm hinges, with only hairline splitss along the endpapers. Pages all clean throughout no spotting etc.Very good copy.. Third Thousand. Hard Cover. Very Good/No Jacket. Illus. by Arthur B. Frost.
