xiv+233 pages. Octavo (8 3/4" x 5 3/4") bound in original publisher's purple cloth with gilt lettering to spine with blind-stamped facsimile signature of Bailey on cover in original pictorial jacket. Inscription: "To Caral Love is where and how we live. Pearl" First edition.
This is a free-swing book that follows literally its title through it will be an unusual reader who doesn't decide soon that Miss Bailey is talking to them too. Crammed with Anecdotes and with highly independent opinions about contemporary life.
Condition: A touch of sunned to head edges, head corners bumped. Jacket with small closed edge tears else a very good to fine copy in a near fine jacket.
