Spine ends and corners lightly rubbed, edges of spine and covers less so, spine sunned, first and last few leaves a tad foxed, gift inscription on front free endpaper, else an internally clean, tight copy with surprisingly sharp plates.
Rackham-illustrated edition, ca. 1930. A collection of adaptations for young readers of 20 of William Shakespeare's most beloved plays including, Hamlet, Othello, Romeo and Juliet, King Lear, Macbeth, A Midsummer Night's Dream, The Tempest, and The Taming of the Shrew.
