About This Item

New York: A.L. Burt Company, 1919. Very Good/Very Good. New York: A.L. Burt Company, 1919. Reprint. Octavo; [vi], 313pp. Illustrated dust jacket over green cloth-covered boards with gilt lettering. Jacket chipped at corners and head of spine, with a 3/4" strip cut cleanly away at tail; spine foxed and smudged, with same down back flap fold and general toning and some tape repair to interior. Boards are square with rubbing and nudging at spine ends, a few faint scuffs to surface, and dulling to lettering. Frontis image cut and mounted to front free endpaper, with prior owner's name above in pen. Opens easily between gatherings with some space starting to show at a few, but binding is secure. Pages a bit toned but unmarked.
