Stitch-bound tan colored wrappers, some toning but near fine. Housed in folding blue chemise and blue slipcase with Kenyon Starling's bookplate, with a blue morocco, banded leather spine with gilt lettering; a near fine scarce copy. First edition; one of 25 numbered copies, of which this 4. 10 pp. 4to. This was the twelfth of twenty very limited issue Conrad productions by Thomas J. Wise. This originally appeared in an issue of Outlook [June 4, 1898], later collected in 'Notes on Life & Letters'. Cagle A40; Supino B1.19.0
