Posthumous collection of 14 novellas and short stories including "The Great God Pan" and "The Bowman." 8vo red textured-paper boards lettered in black on spine; "Printed in Great Britain"-stamp on copyright page; pale gray dust jacket printed in red. Crisp and near fine in very good or better dust jacket with corners nicked, old tape shadow at top front corner, and a creasing along top edge rear panel. From the collection of sports writer Paul "Dr. Z" Zimmerman with his penciled notations on rear endpaper and one on contents page next to final story, "The Terror," reading "Animals rise to destroy man." Scarce.
