London: Charles Bathurst. 1751. Octavo, engraved frontis plate plus seven engraved plates, pp xvi, (vi), 220. Bound by Cottage Bindery of Bath, full leather with gilt rules upper and lower boards, gilt decorated panels and raised bands spine, gilt title. Very good condition. Swift's satire of various branches of the Church, including their religious excess. Inherently political and often considered Swift's major work. An early printing, beautifully bound. Leather.
