Limited Edition hardcover copy, this copy being #62 of only 100 copies, signed by the author at Limitation page. Detailed history of Chicago, Illinois (as of 1933), in 24 "books," complete with index. Gorgeous volume, likely unread, with tight binding and rough-cut pages, some unopened. Rich, dark black pastedowns. Tan linen cloth over boards with black leather-backed spine. Gilt lettering on red leather label affixed to spine shows very light abrasion. Slight bruising to bottom back tip. Dedicated to his son, Hardin Wallace Masters. Else and withal, a lovely copy of an important work of Americana. [2], 3-364 pp.Member, I.O.B.A., C.B.A., and adherent to the highest ethical standards. Additional postage may be required for oversize or especially heavy volumes, and for sets.
