Dunne, who spent the majority of his career as a screenwriter/director/producer at Twentieth Century-Fox, discusses not just his film career but also his involvement with political matters, especially with regard to "the blacklists and witch hunts that would lead him to a play a central role in defending constitutional rights through Americans for Democratic Action and the Committee for the First Amendment."
