Frederick Warne And Co., 1903 The book is in good condition. Maroon boards in very good condition, no chips, stains, or tears. Inscription inside the first end paper. On page 26 a 1/4" edge tear. On page 35 a 1/2" edge tear, an inch edge tear page74, The last illustration has a corner tip triangular 3 1/2" tear top edge, could be glued or taped back, tear does not get into the illustration. A crack at page 66-67, toward the end of the book. String binding, presents very well. The crack isn't noticble unless you open it up on the back side of two illustrations 66-67<p>
A lot of the first editions, first printings have tears, chips, corner bumps, and tears in the cloth, this book is really nice on the outside, no tears to the cloth.
The book has the date on the title page 1903 indicating a first edition and has identical end papers front and back. A rare first edition/first printing.
