Scott and Webster., 1833. 2nd. Ed.. pp.401 with hand-coloured frontis., (illus. of Veronica chamaedrys (Germander Speedwell)) and a further 9 engraved plates. Small 8vo. Neat annotations to text. Some scattered foxing and contents in vg. condition overall. Original full-calf leather boards, showing rubbing and wear on corners. More recently, a handsome new spine has been added; decorated and lettered in gilt. This is the corrected, condensed edition. William Macgillivray made the changes to Withering�s classic text.
