Purple cloth with a blind stamped design on the front and gold gilt on the spine. Edges are slightly frayed and the corners are bent. Spine is cocked and loose, but fully intact. Jacket has some slight fading around corners and soiling on the back panel. It is protected in library-grade mylar and has a call number on the spine. The front endpaper has marks from the lending card's adhesive, a tear through the page, and a withdrawn stamp. There is pencil markings from the library on the copyright page. A well-circulated, but sound copy with clean, unmarked text. A guide to the meaning, usage, and origin of countless common symbols found in every day life. Illusrated with a plethora of b/w images depicting the symbols and signs discussed by the author. Book GOOD condition, jacket GOOD+. April Box 4
