London: J. M. Dent & Sons, 1953. First Edition . Hardcover. Very Good/Good +. The interior of the book is crisp and clean, showing no marks or wear. The blue cloth covers are fresh, with light wear at tips and corners. The dust jacket is in Good + condition, with light edgewear overall, but heavier wear and short tears on the spine. The jacket is now in a protective mylar cover. The attached scan gives a better idea of condition. Synopsis: The Falcon is a motor launch lent to two Sea Cadets for thier summer holidays. One of the lads intercepts mysterious code messages which put them on the track of a gang of oil smugglers operting from some Cornish caves.
