[From Abstract] Drift-bottle returns from 17 cruises over the Gulf of Maine and Georges Bank are compared. Seasonal and year-to-year differences in surface water circulations are noted. Wind values for 60 days following each cruise are presented in an effort to determine wind influence on surface circulation within the area.
