Lengthy inscription inked on ffep: Mary Knight Woods, Bungalow Farm, Oct. 11, 1913, with a quote by A. R. Parsons. 155 pages, clean and unmarked. Frontispiece with tissue, illustrated plates. Tipped in at title page, a tag from The Little Book-Shop Around the Corner, NYC. Ends and corners worn. Some evidence of damp to covers. Parsons, 1847-1933, was an American pianist, organist, and composer from a musical family. He was also an amateurEgyptologist, astronomer, philosopher and poet.
