Self Published, Singapore, 1979. First Edition. Hardcover. Good/No Dust Jacket. 200 pp., for word by Mr. E. J. S . Gooch, authors note and index. Illustrated endpapers, both different, front-end paper: a map of the Middle East with Turkey and Iran highlighted with the graph and towns of carpet weaving note, noted. The endpaper: an old carpet design. Photographic frontispiece showing a modern oriental carpet. The book is copiously illustrated with coloured photography of both Turkey and Iran and of carpet designs. Illustrated front cover with 1/4 red board and the rest a carpet design, with gilt writing on the front panel and spine. The corners of the book are bumped and rubbed, all are corners affected. The front board is slightly cocked and there is bumping to the head and heel of spine. Slight dust marks to the top paper edge. No 4 in "Supreme Oriental Carpets" series.
