Peter was the late Peter Jacobi, a noted author, educator and mentor, who was Professor of Journalism at Indiana University from 1985 to 2017, Chairman of the Indiana Arts Commission fro 1990 to 1993, and named to Who's Who Top Educators 2019. Lowry, of course is a two time Newberry Award Winner, a Margaret T. Edwards Award winner, and a Hans Christian Anderson Finalist.Ms. Lowry obviously had a tremendous amount of respect for Mr. Jacobi. The copy itself is VG in a VG, unclipped ($12.95) , DJ. Exterior is clean and rich. No edge wear. Top page edges are dust dulled. Inside is unmarked, crisp, and tightly bound. DJ is clean and bright. Only hints of edge wear, but does have a 1/4" closed tear to top back. Exceptional story, both within the book and about it..
