About This Item
Albany, NY State University of New York Press, 1973. Hardcover First Edition USA, (1973). First published in the UK by Allen & Unwin in 1972. First Edition USA, (1973). Very Good in Very Good DJ: Both book and DJ show indications of moderate use. The Book shows light shelving wear to the lower extremities; slight spine lean; a former owner's not-unattractive personalized book-plate at the front free endpaper; the top edges of the cloth-covered boards and the tinted top edge of the text block are lightly sunned; a tiny spot of soil at the outside edge of the rear endpapers; the binding is secure; the text is clean. Free of any creased or dog-eared pages in the text. Free of any underlining, hi-lighting or marginalia or marks in the text. A handsome copy, structurally sound and tightly bound, showing mild wear and several minor imperfections. The DJ shows rubbing to the extremities; a blank sticker has been placed over a price at the lower corner of the inside front flap; a hint of sunning to the lavender background field of the backstrip; the price, we assume, is intact; mylar-protected. NOT a Remainder, Book-Club, or Ex-Library. 8vo. (8.8 x 5.75 x 1 inches). 184 pages. Index. Language: English. Weight: 14.3 ounces. First published in the UK by Allen & Unwin in 1972. Hardback with DJ.
