About This Item
San Antonio, TX: The Naylor Company, 1967 The Naylor Company, San Antonio, TX. 1967. Hardcover. First Edition. Book is tight, square, and unmarked. Book Condition: Near Fine; light bumping to head and tail. DJ: Near Fine; NOT Price Clipped ($1.95); suntanning to spine and upper edges of the DJ. Black cloth boards and spine with gray lettering on the spine and front board. 141 pp 8vo. This is a sudden storm of writing by a 16 year old. He writes about anything that comes into his head and in his own unique way, he examines the emotions of love, hate, death, ambition, war, parents, and other trials that everyone has in common. There are poems and aphrisms; there are some of a universal haunting beauty. His comments are shocking, ludicrous, deflating, but never dull. This book has rain and thunder, but the best part of a sudden storm is the lightning. A clean very presentable copy.
