A compilation of ten essays by world-renowned Renaissance Art authority John Pope Hennessy dealing with both individual artists, as well as "the religious symbolism, myth, and allegory that are reflected in the Italian plaquette" of th early Renaissance. No previous ownership marks. Minor incidental wear to dust-jacket, albeit near fine. A clean, square, fresh and unmarked copy. Fine in a very good+ dust-jacket. .
