Chicago: The Goldsmith Publishing Co., 1931. Published 1931. High school baseball adventures of Bob "Speed" Durgan and his rival Carl "Bimbo" Bailey. Red cloth, 240 pages, illustrated dustjacket. Some shelfwear and uneven coloring to the covers, good hinges, sound text block, darkened endpapers, age-toned but clean pages free from names or other markings. The mylar protected dustjacket has some minor edge chips and a lightly tanned spine, little paper loss.. Hard Cover. Good/Good. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
