London:: Philip Allan & Co, 1920. 1st Edition . Hardcover. Very Good. 4to - over 9¾ - 12" tall. HARVEY J.D.M. [John Dean Monroe] 1895-1978 . In grubby quarter cloth over boards, corners bumped & worn. Spine, black ink titles, edges bumped. Internally, half title, frontis, titles in red & black inks, [8], 145 pp, [3], 8 illustrations, text within double lined box, small bookseller label & owners label to fpd (Start & Frank Mullings). (252*164 mm). Vince's began as a journalist, then from 1920 he worked for the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI), initially as Assistant Secretary for Publicity then as the Secretary, and became sole editor of The Life-boat, the journal of the Institution. He emphasised human interest and quality photography. HARVEY - Probably unrivalled as an architectural perspectivist working after the second World War, Harvey trained as an architect but after 1944 worked almost solely on drawing architectural perspectives for other architects. REDUCED

Item not as described: The condition of the book does not match the description on Madoc Books. Incorrect item delivered: The title, cover or edition of the book is different than the title on the order. Item not received: The estimated delivery date has passed and the book has still not arrived. To cancel a book order or return a book simply contact Madoc with your order confirmation details and to obtain the return address.

DELIVERY DETAILS We ship all of our orders via Royal Mail. Orders are usually shipped within 2 or 3 business days. Shipping costs are based on books weighing 2.2 LB, or 1 KG. If your book order is heavy or oversized or a multiple in books we will contact you to let you know that extra shipping is required. Insurance costs are usually dictated by the shippers, should they be higher than normal, then we will contact you for your acceptance.
