Colour illustrated frontispiece, by H. Johns. Green coloured boards with red titles to the front panel and backstrip. Bumping to the backstrip edges and rubbing to the book corners. Wear to the book edges and there is light staining to the front book panel but significant staining to the backstrip and back book panel. Browning and foxing to the text block edges. Browning and foxing to the endpapers and to the internal text. Colour illustrated dustwrapper, again by H. Johns, with white and yellow titles to the front panel and backstrip. Rubbing and chipping, significant, to the dustwrapper corners and backstrip edges. Numerous small tears and chips to the dustwrapper edges with creasing also present. Rubbing to the backstrip edges and fold over creases. Browning and staining to the back dustwrapper panel and rubbing to both the front and rear dustwrapper panel. Clipping of the dustwrapper, front fold over, lower right-hand corner.
