London: Jonathan Cape, 1928. 1st Edition. Hardcover. Near Fine/Very Good. 8vo., 344pp. Sharp First Edition bound in brown cloth with titles in gilt on spine. Square, tight and clean throughout save for some off-setting to end-papers and paste-downs due to the dust-jacket. Bookplate on front paste-down. A touch of bumping to spine ends and top front flap. Solid dust-jacket has a price on front flap but looks like bottom corner still clipped. Perhaps it was priced there for export or prepublication. Some fairly minor edge-wear and soiling. Spine toned. A very pretty collectable copy of the author's third book.
